Adornments by artist Lieven d’Haese

Lieven d’Haese (b. 1957) has his studio in Hekelgem and has already exhibited his work in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris, Strasbourg, Luxembourg, and London. He created the bronze wind weather vane on the top of the glass mill cap for Molen De Vis. He also forged the handles on the entrance door. A fun little fact: Lieven’s father is the maker of the weather vane on Hekelgem church tower.
